Term and Conditions

 

Thank you for taking interest in our services, This T&C is equally important as your pre-wedding / Wedding. we curated this T&C with the help of our legal team and past experiences to benefit you as a client and us as an artist. Therefore we don’t change it for anyone at any cost.  (Please take your time to read all carefully it will take you 5-minute max )

Pre-wedding (if opted) :

 

  • Outside Udaipur, the Pre-wedding shoot duration is for 2 days.
  • The duration of the shoot required per day is 6-8 hours. In case the couple fails to shoot mentioned duration per day, Tales of nuptial / Man with a camera will not be responsible for any kind of extended shoot/ lack of content/quality in the shoot and no/duration of pictures & film will wary accordingly.
  • The location has to be booked by the client only.
  • If the package is taken with Pre Wedding shoot, and the client fails to avail of the same there will be no post wed shoot or deduction of the amount from the current package.
  • All the no of pictures /duration of the video mentioned are average no/length, no/length can be more/less depending on the type of shoot we get during the time.

Delivery Time :

  • Within a month (15-20 day) of prewedding, we deliver the photo and video

Wedding Photography :

 

  • No of the pictures mentioned in the deliverable is the average no of pictures we give in an event. No of the pictures can be a lot more or less than what mentioned depending on the candid moments we get to click in the event.
  • Wedding is covered from Bride/Groom getting ready till vidai. Vidai will be covered from the venue at max 6 am, stretchable to 7 am. After that next day charge will be counted.
  • The client is requested to give the accurate/half an hour time before of actual call time for all events except the wedding.
  • Waiting time of more than an hour will be included in the working duration.

Delivery Time :

  • 35-50 Days from the date of the event (Pictures and Traditional Video).
  •   65-75 Days (Cinematic Promo 1st cut).
  •  75-90 Days (Long Version Cinematic 1st cut)
P.S. Delivery time for pictures will start from the payment date of the second installment and for videos after song selection finalized by the client for both forms of videos. (whichever happen later)
  • Delivery will be done in the 1 or 2Tb hard disk provided by the client. (Recommended)
  • Online: Via Dropbox transfer.

Booking Policy:

 
  • 40% of Total amount- Advance
  • 50% of Total amount- After coverage of the wedding
  • 10% of Total amount- At the time of delivery
  • The final amount needs to be paid at the time of delivery of pictures (Soft copy) and not at delivery of video and album.
  • Album will be provided in a time of 3 weeks after selected pictures are provided by the client. Selected pictures needed to be provided within 3 months of delivery of pictures. 
  • If Album printing gets delayed by 6 months from the delivery of pictures due to nonsubmission of pictures from the client, an extra charge will be applicable on album printing.
  • If deliverable are needed to be couriered/Transferred online, the final installment needs to be paid in advance.
  • While transferring the amount please do write your name in remarks.
  • All the above-mentioned cost is exclusive of 18% GST.

Cancellation policy:

 
  • The booking amount will not be refunded if the complete project is canceled due to any reason.
  • If Pre-wedding is taken in package and client is unable to avail the shoot, due to any reason. No amount will be deducted from the final quote.
  • In case the client cancels or not able to avail of any service mentioned in the package i.e. pre-wedding/album or any other, No refund will be given for the same.
  • In Case the Wedding gets Postponed due to any reason, the booking amount will only be adjusted if we get the information of the same 2 months prior to the wedding. Else the booking amount will not be adjusted and if the client wishes to book us for the new date, the complete new contract will be shared with the new booking amount.

Storage Duration and Fee:

 
  • Tales of Nuptial will hold the data for a maximum of three months after the completion of deliverables is done. This timeline will start after the client is informed that deliverables(i.e pictures and videos) are ready and can be collected.
  • If the client doesn’t collect the data in the time period of three months and data gets corrupt or deleted, Tales of Nuptial can’t be held responsible for any data loss.
  • In case the client doesn’t collect the data after completion over more than 3 months, there will be an extra storage charge of Rs 2000 per month.
  • Tales of Nuptial provide 3-year data protection and storage for an additional cost of Rs 5,000/-. A client can avail of this facility with the payment of Rs 5,000 with the booking amount.
  • This facility can only be availed before the delivery of data.

Changes/Correction:

 
  • For cinematic highlight, if you have any given song preference please share it with us in 30 days of the wedding date.
  • We consider your involvement in cinematic highlight changes (for adding or removing people) other than that we request you to trust our editor talent.
  • After delivery of pictures and video, the client will be given two weeks to review the work from the date of delivery.
  • In that period, we advice client to make double copies of the deliverable.
  • If we didn’t hear anything within 2 weeks, we will assume that deliverable are in order and we can go ahead with deletion of data.
  • Tales of Nuptial will not be responsible for loss of data afterwards.
  • If client ask for any change/correction, he/she will be given five days more time after corrected deliverable are delivered to review the work and get back to us.
  • The client will be allowed to suggest changes in traditional highlight video with a maximum of 2 rounds. After 2 rounds, any other change will incur extra cost.

Drone Policy:

 
  • To fly Drone, written permission from the hotel and the local police station is to be provided by the client at least 1 week prior to the event.
    Tales of Nuptial is not responsible for any kind of follow-up to get permission.
  • In the absence of written permission, Tales of Nuptial will not be flying the drone.
  • During the flight if a drone gets hit by anything( e.g bird or children throwing stuff ) or due to any technical glitches get crashed, Tales of Nuptial won’t be responsible for any kind of damage if someone gets hurt unfortunately by it/ some thing gets damaged during its fall.

T&C For Covid-19:

Considering this pandemic situation we have updated the few term and condition for the same 

  • If there will be a change in the date of the event or cancellation due to pandemic conditions,  Tales of Nuptial will do the shoot for a client on the next dates as and when it’ll be decided by the client. (within one year )
  • In case we got already booked for that date, we will reimburse the full booking amount of the client.
  • If the client cancels the wedding on their own then we would not be obliged to reimburse the booking amount.
  • Considering the current situation, if any kind of pass is required for coming to the venue, the client has to arrange for the same and if sudden lockdown is imposed or a particular state government imposed 14 days quarantine then the team won’t be able to come for the shoot.
  • Would request the client to make sure guest will have masks and maintain social distancing at the events and on the dance floor too, for the safety of them as well as a team. If we find that rules as per govt guidelines are not being followed by clients, Tales of Nuptial have the right to stop the coverage of that particular event.
  • Only if the cancellation happens within the span of 10 days of/prior to the event, we would have to deduct Rs 30,000/- for bookings done by the team prior to our side for the event.
  • GST paid will not be refunded. 

Term&Conditions :

  1. The price doesn’t include boarding & lodging for the team. (for assignments outside Udaipur). Custom fees, Visa, Luggage Charges, and or any other travel charges are not included in the quoted price and will be charged extra as per actual.
  2. Boarding, Lodging, and fooding are to be provided at par with guests. failing which it shall be considered as an immediate cancellation of the shoot from client’s end and no images or video shall be delivered or requests for the same entertained.
  3. We don’t shoot dinner table shots by default. If it is important for you please remind us of the event date.
  4. In case of any natural calamity like Rain, our team will not be clicking pictures as our equipment will get damaged.
  5. In case of any misbehaviour done to any member of the team by any guest present at the ceremony, we will be forced to pack up instantaneously. And we also assure there will be no misbehavior from any of our team members towards any present guest at the event.
  6. In the occurrence of the above-mentioned cases (points 1 and 2), the client will have to pay the total cost as quoted above. 
  7. Tales of Nuptial shall have intellectual property rights over all the pictures that are shot.
  8. A soft copy of all clicked Candid images will not be provided. No matter how sweetly you ask for it :). If they haven’t made it to the final selection, then there must be some reason for it. But even then if you feel there is any particular pose that you loved and hasn’t made to the final selection, we may re-look at it and see if there is any possibility to make it to the final selection.
  9. Tales of Nuptial shall retain the rights to use the pictures that are shot during your wedding/ other events, to showcase our work to the other prospective clients, or to participate in competitions or for any other relevant purpose.
  10. In Case if the selected Tales of Nuptial Senior Photographer is not in good health to shoot the event or due to any misshapen, he will be replaced by another senior photographer of the firm. In this case, we make sure the quality of work is maintained throughout(Although it’s not happened till now. finger crossed)
  11. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, hard drive failure, memory card failure, theft, death, injury or illness, accident, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the photographer’s control, the photographers’ liability shall be limited to a part or full refund of the total Contract value and the photographer shall not be responsible for other consequential damages, emotional or otherwise. Note that all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure the availability of backup equipment. A full refund of the total contract value shall be made if no images/films are delivered. Part refund of the total contract value, proportional to the delivery shall be made in case part of the shoot has been covered and delivery made.
  12. In case of Travel to cities outside Udaipur, if Bus, Train, or Flight get delayed (especially in winters due to fog), then Tales of Nuptial will not be held responsible for it and no deduction in fee will be accepted if we will not be able to capture any event due to it.
  13. In case the Album is to be delivered outside Udaipur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, courier charges to be borne by the client.
  14.  Any dispute or difference between the parties under this contract shall be settled by Arbitration in accordance with the Rules of Arbitration of the Indian Council of Arbitration, and the award made in pursuance thereof shall be binding on both the parties. Only the Court in Udaipur will have jurisdiction over any matter related to this agreement. All disputes if any are subject to Udaipur jurisdiction only.
  15. For any unforeseen circumstances team holds the right to cancel the coverage of the event and the booking amount will be reimbursed in that situation.
  16. We shall have only one point of contact which can be bride & groom/either parent/family member/friend etc. whom we shall liaise with and take constructive instructions from. We are not answerable to random guests/relatives/friends/family etc. in any manner whatsoever.
  17. Our bookings are on first-cum-first serve basis. Booking is considered confirmed only once the full booking amount (as mentioned in the booking policy) is paid and this advance amount is always non-refundable.
  18. We ask the client to brief us about the itinerary and expected guests on the wedding functions so that we know the team size needed.
  19. We do not book or provide a location for the pre-wedding shoot. It is purely the client’s choice. Although we do recommend a few places that we know, we prefer NOT to shoot at public places for many reasons. However, client inputs are always welcome and appreciated.
  20. We do not allow professional or otherwise any photographers apart from our team to shoot the wedding since the overall output is not satisfactory. In case there is, we need to be well informed at the time of the booking. In a case of conflict, we reserve the right to back out.
  21. We love to work with people who have the right approach towards us, who like our style of work, and who trust us and give us full freedom to be creative.
  22. We believe a professional approach with a personal touch helps us perform better. Be kind to your photographers and you will have them sweat it out for you.
  23. Trust your photographer and you will have something better than what you would have expected.
  24. It is advisable to avoid dim lighting, LED lights, etc for better picture quality and best results.
  25. Our work is like an art, therefore to prevent it from misuse we always put a watermark, we suggest you use our watermarked images while sharing on social media and not crop the watermark.
  26. We demand a certain period of time to work on the images. If you push us to give us the images before that time frame, it leads us to not being able to work on the images properly.
  27. Tales of Nuptial is known for a particular style. If it doesn’t match your taste, we do not see a point in you booking us.
  28. What satisfies us more than money is an appreciation from our client. We have been fortunate to have lovely clients and we recommend that if you are not coming through a reference, you can review our work through our previous clients or on social media.
  29. Your last-minute additional requirements will cost you extra.
  30. In case of cancellation of a wedding which we do hope never ever should happen, we lose business as our dates are already blocked. Therefore, we request you to avail of our other services and not ask for a refund.”A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime affair. Therefore, never cut corners on photography. This is an investment!

Copyright and Usage :

We retain copyright to all the images and video and will use the images and video on our Website/Facebook/Blog and for promoting our work in magazines, exhibitions, and any social media platform anytime after the shoot. As artists, we consider each picture or video as a piece of art created by us and thus would want to showcase it. However, we will not be using it for any commercial purpose. We will not be selling these images, video and will use the images, video purely to demonstrate the work that we have done. In cases, where a client does not want the pictures to be displayed anywhere, we will be charging a higher photography and videography fee.

Frequently Asked Question :

 

Music and songs selection are a joint decision of the Director, Client and the Edit team. A client co-ordinator from the studio shall be co-ordinating this. Usually the creative visualiser of the project takes care of all these details. The film titles are usually suggested either by the client or the film director and approved by both.

Once the Highlight film is ready, we send couple the first cut as we want them to see and approve of it first. If they disapprove of any clip / footage during the first screening, we can make the edit changes and corrections (in the one round of permissible edit changes) and present the final film for the friends and family to see and enjoy. Nothing is delivered / released without the approval of the couple. If we do not receive any changes within Twenty (20) days, we will assume that you approve of the film and no changes are required. We will then close your project and deliver the high resolution final rendered version of the film. Any changes after that period shall be charged extra.

No changes are permitted in the Full films (FF) unless there is a grave edit error. One round of changes in the Highlight film and Trailer means that once the couple sees the film for the first time, they can add / delete some clips as per their liking. Some close relatives whose footage is unintentionally missed by the editors can be added in this round. Any other minor changes can also be corrected. But please note that major changes may not be possible / charged extra. After that it is paid Rs. 2500 per cycle

  • Addition of an event
  • Changes in music track
  • Replacement of more than ten clips of friends / relatives.
  • Changes in the film titles / credits etc

Time slot needs to be given to us before hand for interviews for wedding film on shoot days. Failing to a lot time slot might result in no interviews in the final film. We shall not be liable to take the interviews at a later date or time. Any such requests shall incur additional charges
